About CredenSync

Built by clinicians and educators.
Audited by compliance teams.

CredenSync exists because the people closest to credentialing — the ones sitting across from a surveyor at 9 AM — were not the ones building the software. We flipped that. Every workflow is shaped by a clinician, educator, or compliance lead who has personally stared down a renewal window.

Our origin

We started because the spreadsheets kept failing people.

In late 2023, a board surveyor walked into a regional clinic and asked a nurse practitioner to produce her BLS renewal certificate on the spot. It had expired three months earlier — and the spreadsheet she had been using had silently sorted it out of view with the rest of the "done" rows. The clinician was faultless; the tooling was the problem.

CredenSync began as an internal tool inside the same network, replacing those spreadsheets with a living record that knows the difference between a license, a certification, and a continuing-education hour — and surfaces what is actually at risk. We open it up to every clinician, educator, and compliance lead who has ever lost sleep to a renewal deadline.

Today we support solo practitioners, regional networks, and enterprise HR teams across licensure compacts, multi-state credentialing, and education recertification cycles. The dashboard stays the same: a clear list of what is current, what is at risk, and what you need to do this week.

What we hold ourselves to

Four principles, on every release

Not slogans — they are written down, and we review them before every merge. If a decision conflicts with one of these, we change the decision.

Security-first by default
PHI never enters the product, but we treat every credential record as if it were. Encryption at rest and in transit, scoped API tokens, third-party penetration tests, and an audit log of every state change.
Clinician-tested, not just demoed
Every workflow is reviewed by a licensed clinician or educator on the team before it ships. If a nurse can't read the dashboard in under fifteen seconds on a phone, we rebuild it.
Educator-aware
Recertification is a different problem from licensure. We model PD hours, college classes, and board-approved mixes as first-class paths — not fields jammed into a generic tracker.
Audit-ready every day
Living audit trails, document storage, and one-click reporting. When the surveyor or board email arrives, the dossier is already assembled.
The people behind it

Clinicians, educators, and compliance specialists

A small, deliberately cross-disciplinary team. Everyone on the product side has held the credential or run the survey themselves.
