Yes. Add both credentials to one record and each state’s rules, cycle, and deadlines stay separate and legible. PD hours earned in one state stay portable across renewal years, and the dashboard shows both boards side-by-side instead of forcing a primary jurisdiction.

How are PD hours tracked across a 5-year recertification cycle?

We keep a running total against the cycle that is currently active for you, with partial-credit carryover so credit you already earned is not lost when you roll into a new cycle. Board-approved mixes (in-service hours, district training, college classes) are tracked as first-class paths, and two college classes map to up-to-X PD hours exactly the way your state board reads them.

What about renewal timelines?

Each credential carries its own renewal date, drilled in from the relevant state board’s rules. The dashboard reads it as in-cycle or out-of-cycle automatically, with a countdown for whichever window is next.

Do I get reminders before something lapses?

Yes. At-risk monitoring watches every credential on your record and flags any PD hour total, renewal date, or multi-state license approaching its lapse window. You can also opt into email reminders so the alert reaches you even if you are not in the dashboard that week.

Is my data private?

Credential records are encrypted at rest and in transit, scoped to your account, and never sold. The full controls list and a reference to our third-party pen-test cadence live on the Security & Privacy page — your record stays yours.

When is CE auto-tracking available?

It ships in a future release. Today you log CE hours manually against a credential on your record; the auto-tracking variant will pull hours in from connected providers so a workshop here and a webinar there reconcile without re-entry.
